Laura Viancour

Laura earned a BS in horticulture from Virginia Tech, and came to Colonial Williamsburg as a gardener in 1982. In 1995, she created her current position as Manager of Garden Programs. Laura develops garden educational programs, trains interpretive staff, and manages the Historic Area’s landscape volunteers.

Wesley Greene

Wesley earned his BS in botany from the University of Maine, and joined Colonial Williamsburg as a landscape foreman in 1981. In 1996, he founded the Colonial Garden and Nursery, where costumed interpreters garden with 18th century plants, tools, and techniques. Today, Wesley is a Garden Historian and a costumed interpreter at the Colonial Garden and Nursery.
